Hand Knitting Patterns
The lacy sleeves on this lovely sweater, designed by Jan Chappelle and Ingrid Pietras, may look complicated, but the stitch pattern is very simple and it works up quickly. Use a soft yarn for the drapey fit shown here, or a stiffer yarn if you prefer more body.
This pullover is worked from the bottom up in pieces, then sewn together.
The openwork pattern is presented in written format.
