Slip Stitch Squares Cardigan

The easy slip stitch squares pattern adds an unexpected touch to the cuffs and base of this cardigan. The color pattern looks complicated, but you only work with one color at a time. The squares blend effortlessly into a second pattern that repeats the motif. Try different combinations of colors; I like using a lighter color for the MC so that the slip stitch squares really stand out. Work the matching shell (Pattern 111) in the reverse colorway for a softer look. This cardigan is worked from the bottom up in pieces, with integral front pockets, then sewn together.

The Slip Stitch Squares pattern is presented in both written and charted formats. The Purl Squares pattern (which is just knits and purls) is presented in charted format only.
