This sweater, designed by Jan Chappelle and Ingrid Pietras, is a great transition project if you want to move from knitting scarves to completing an entire sweater. You knit up three scarves, then sew or crochet them together and voilà! You have a sweater. It really is that easy!

Model knit in Giotto by Colinette Yarns (50% cotton, 40% rayon, 10% nylon; 100 g hank = 156 yards): Fresco.
Needles and Notions: One pair size 11 (8 mm) knitting needles, OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE; split ring markers
Gauges: Over Feather and Fan Panel, 18 sts and 18 rows = 41/2”/11.3 cm; in Garter st, 12 sts and 26 rows = 4”/10 cm
